Vintage Ludwig Supra Phonic.
From the 1970s -- pointed corner blue and olive badge. Serial numbers 1368629.
Chicago, USA production. 14 x 5 size.
One of the most popular snare drums ever made -- and renown as the most recorded snare drum in history.
The drum shell is in very good condition -- some minor surface pitting on the exterior shell finish which is very common on these older Supras.
10 lugs. All original lugs and original throw off and butt plate. No non original holes in the shell and the shell is in round. Internal tone control muffler is mussing (you can find these online for around ).
Clear Remo batter head and original Ludwig resonate head. Snare wires are missing a couple of wires.
Players grade drum that delivers that classic crisp, responsive tone with excellent attack and projection -- exactly what you expect from a vintage Supra Phonic.
